Lu Xiaobo
Senior Professor of Liberal Arts, Tsinghua University Dean of Tsinghua Qingshang Research Institute for Innovative Design of Smart Scene
Former Dean, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University. His research and creative practice focus on information art design, industrial design pedagogy, theoretical research, artistic creation and design practice in related fields. His monographs include Graphical Interface Design.
He served as an expert member of the National Cultural Science and Technology Innovation Project under the National Science and Technology Support Program, an expert for key special projects of the 13th Five-Year Plan Science and Technology Program, and a member of the 7th and 8th National Committees of the China Association for Science and Technology. He led the stylistic design of the national leader’s reviewing stand and the design of the Hunan Pavilion at the Expo 2010 Shanghai China.
His awards include the Second-Class National Outstanding Teaching Achievement Award and the Second-Class Award of the 14th Beijing Philosophy and Social Sciences Outstanding Achievements.
